The project
Making a content-rich website feel fast.
The company had a broad technology and consulting offering spread across multiple pages and services. My work focused on turning the provided designs into a polished frontend while making the experience significantly faster and more search-friendly.
The challenge
Keep the design. Make it faster to find and load.
The site needed to stay visually rich across a large set of service and capability pages, while becoming more responsive, more structured for search, and substantially faster to load.
Performance
From around 3 seconds to about 450ms.
Performance was the central engineering focus. The frontend was optimized across loading, assets, JavaScript, rendering, and interactive elements while keeping the visual experience intact.
- Frontend rendering optimization
- Image optimization
- Lazy loading
- JavaScript optimization
- Reduced unnecessary frontend work
- Asset optimization
- Loading strategy improvements
- Animation and interaction optimization
- Performance testing with Lighthouse
~3s
Approximate loading time before the optimization work.
Frontend optimization
Rendering, assets, scripts, loading behavior, and interaction improvements.
~450ms
Approximate loading time after optimization.
96+ Lighthouse
Measured performance score after the optimization work.
Search
Making every page easier to understand.
The site had a large number of service and capability pages, so technical SEO was built into the page structure. Metadata, schema, indexing controls, canonical URLs, headings, internal links, and image information were all addressed.
- Page titles and meta descriptions
- Open Graph metadata
- Structured data / schema
- XML sitemap
- Robots.txt
- Canonical URLs
- Internal linking
- Semantic heading structure
- Image alt text
- SEO-friendly URLs
- Search Console and indexing
Frontend
Turning Figma into a responsive product.
The frontend was implemented from Figma across roughly ten pages, including the company's core pages and individual service experiences. Responsive layouts and interactions were handled across desktop and mobile.
Service pages
A consistent system across a broad offering.
With multiple services and capabilities to present, the frontend needed reusable patterns that could keep the experience consistent while allowing each service page to communicate its own content.
Interaction
Keeping the experience engaging without slowing it down.
Animations and interactive elements were implemented with the performance target in mind, making sure visual polish did not come at the cost of responsiveness.
The result
A faster, stronger foundation for the website.
The result was a responsive frontend with a stronger technical SEO foundation and a major improvement in measured loading performance — from around 3 seconds to about 450ms, with a 96+ Lighthouse performance score.
Features
Figma to production
The website was implemented from Figma with attention to layout, spacing, typography, responsive behavior, and interactive details.
Service page system
Individual service and capability pages follow a consistent frontend structure while still communicating each offering clearly.
Responsive frontend
Layouts and interactions were adapted across desktop, tablet, and mobile rather than treating smaller screens as an afterthought.
Interactive experience
Frontend interactions and animations bring the designs to life without getting in the way of the content.
Performance optimization
Images, scripts, rendering, and loading behavior were optimized to bring page load time down from around 3 seconds to about 450ms.
Technical SEO
Metadata, schema, canonical URLs, semantic structure, and internal linking were treated as part of the frontend implementation.
Search-friendly service pages
Service pages were structured so both users and search engines can understand the individual offerings.
